Colonial Promos
One of On Sale Promos recent projects has been to oversee the creation of the Colonial Promos store at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. The newly set up store is similar to the one already established at the University of Maryland, the Smith Store. The Colonial Promos store, which is a miniature version of the On Sale Promos store, is run by GWU students in the School of Business with interests in entrepreneurship and the promotional products industry. The store’s student leaders have been marketing their services to university offices and student organizations, providing a broad variety of promotional products at competitive prices. All products can be branded with the office, organization or event name for graduation, residence hall move-in, guest speakers or fraternities and sororities or student clubs and groups. Some clients include Program Board, which bought customized water bottles, and backpacks for the School of Business’s Mintz Sophomore Getaway. To encourage entrepreneurship education, twenty percent of the profits earned are donated back to the George Washington University’s Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence. Colonial Promos is currently working hard to expand its services to all sectors of the university.
